Less than 3 hours from Sydney, along Australia's Great Dividing Range, lies the Wolgan Valley.  Steeped in Australian history and culture, this valley has recently taken on greater significance as an area of conservation.  Formed when the Grand Canyon was a narrow stream, the Blue Mountain's wide valleys, sandstone cliffs, deep canyons and rivulets have earned it the reputation as one of the most breathtaking places in Australia.Hardly surprising, it is classified as a World Heritage Site. It consists of three national parks and is home to a multitude of species, including many that are considered endangered. The Wolgan Valley has a pocket of privately-owned land surrounded by the Blue Mountains National Park. While Sydney has become an international holiday and business destination, the seclusion of Wolgan has ensured that it is untouched by urbanisation. Under our conservation management, it will remain secluded and visitors to Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa will be strictly limited to lessen any environmental impact.
